Welcome to the Expression of Interest form for the City of Sydney Accommodation Grant program.

This form allows you to provide details on your proposed use of a property being made available through the Accommodation Grant Program. This is stage one of the application process for an Accommodation Grant.

Application process

Stage One EOI (Open to all) - Applicants complete and submit a short EOI form. City of Sydney staff review EOI applications against the set criteria. Note: The City of Sydney may request clarification from applicants on their submissions if required. Applicants notified of the outcome of the EOI, with shortlisted applicants invited to commence Stage Two.

Stage Two AGP Application (Invitation only) – Shortlisted applicants identified through stage one submit their full AGP application. City staff assess applications against set criteria. Applicants notified of the outcome, following Council endorsement.

The Expression of Interest stage is open to applications from a wide range of organisations/entities, but please note that only the organisations named below can submit a full application to the Accommodation Grant Program (scheduled for mid-August on an invitation only basis), so please consider this and the time frame needed to establish an accepted entity before submitting an expression of interest form.

Applicants must demonstrate that payment of standard rates would cause financial hardship.

This program is open to for profit entities.

If you are ultimately successful in your application to the Accommodation grant program, you will need to provide as part of your lease requirement:

• A Work, Health and Safety plan
• A Risk Management plan - within the first 3 months of the tenancy (or lease)
• Supply certificates of currency for insurance cover currently held by your organisation:
  • $20m Public Liability
  • Workers compensation
